🔹 What is Amputation?

Amputation is the surgical removal of a limb or part of a limb due to disease, injury, or complications that prevent normal function or threaten a patient’s health. It may involve removal of a toe, finger, hand, foot, or a portion of the arm or leg.

  6. Congenital Limb Deficiency

    • Rarely, some children are born with missing or underdeveloped limbs requiring surgical correction.
